(to a deluxe apartment...) I have had the Jefferson's theme song in my head lately. Ever since we found out we were going to be settled in an apartment for awhile. Here is the deal: We were having a roof put on our house and during construction we had a huge rain storm (right before it snowed) SO, we had some major leaking (it's a long story). We were in the middle of trying to figure out how we were going to fix everything, then Jason had the idea to call the insurance company and see if by chance they covered the damage. They do, AND they put us in temporary housing. It has been so much work cleaning everything out of the way and getting out of our house and settled in an apartment, but we are so thankful that everything is being taken care of.
So, we have been the busiest we have ever been it seems and I am trying to get back into a normal routine. (whatever that is!!!)
We have a had SO many fun times though. I forgot to mention that we were in a hotel at first. Being the awesome, fun mom that I am ;) I got a hotel with an indoor pool and we stayed in the pool so much that we looked like prunes. Here is a picture of us at the hotel.
